Up to two hours in your new home to take stock of the technology you've inherited. Afterward you receive a written Household Technology Summary: what's there, what works, and what to do next.

Visits are by appointment. Plenty of problems can be solved remotely, and remote help is sometimes available the same day.

We keep track, so you don't have to

Over time we keep a record of your equipment, settings, quirks and vendors. Each call picks up where the last one left off.

We deal with the other companies

If the fix belongs to Spectrum, your AV installer, the alarm company, an electrician or a manufacturer, we explain the problem, arrange the handoff and stay involved.

Pricing and hours

One person, during the working week, who takes ownership of the problem until it's sorted.

The New Home Technology Walkthrough has a fixed price: $400.

Who you'll work with

Jordan Hewitt

Founder. When you call or text HEWITT, you reach Jordan, and Jordan is the one who takes care of it.

For years I've been the person family and friends call when technology stops working, gets confusing, or simply needs to be handled. HEWITT Private Technology brings that same help to your household.

I grew up in Palos Verdes, and my parents still live on the Peninsula. I studied computer science and have spent my career building software. What I enjoy most is understanding the whole system, finding the real problem, and leaving things simpler than I found them.
